Dianmin Chen

Managing Director & CEO

Dr Chen is a mining engineer with more than 35 years’ experience in metal mining. He has had a wide range of roles in the mining industry including technical, production and management positions in Australia, China and Canada.

Dr Chen has held previous senior management and executive roles including Barrick Gold (Mine Manager), Sino Gold (General Manager), Citic Pacific Mining (Chief Operating Officer), CaNickel (Executive Director and CEO) and Norton Goldfields (Managing Director and CEO). He has also served as a Non-Executive Director for several listed companies in Australia and Canada, including Kalgoorlie Mining Corporation, Bullabulling Gold Mines, Sherwin Iron, Norton Goldfields, NKWE Platinum and CuDeco Limited. Dr Chen is currently a Non-Executive Director of Warriedar Resources Limited (ASX: WA8).

Dr Chen holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mining and PhD in Mining Geomechanics. He has a WA First Class Mine Manager’s Certificate of Competency.
